RI (Relaxing Incision for Astigmatism)

Posted on Posted in Uncategorized

A procedure in which partial thickness incisions are made at the corneal periphery (edge of the cornea) in order to treat corneal astigmatism.

LRI optimizes the function of intraocular lenses (IOL) in order to achieve a wider range of vision correction.  The procedure has a proven track record of safety with rare complications.

The visual recovery from an LRI procedure is also typically very quick.
